Our Environmental Impact

We're having a conversation about sustainability in accommodation and committing to providing solutions that help hotels achieve their goals.

Environmental Impact

A hotel produces a lot of waste; we know that, everything from soap to signs, tissue boxes to shampoo containers.

A recent Stuff article around had me thinking about the amount of plastic we have in New Zealand and the various options we have to reuse them in smart and interesting ways. How can hotels and their guests improve?

Altitude’s ultimate goal is to reduce waste and the overall environmental impact your hotel has by reducing paper, encouraging reduced housekeeping and more. We’re passionate about this and always looking for ways to improve. Altitude’s ultimate goal is to become Carbon Neutral and help your property achieve this too.

It's a simple step to start off small; recycle soap: https://www.beyondskindeep.co.nz/.
